Waikato Osteopathic Centre is a long-established multidisciplinary clinic in Maeroa, Hamilton. We're looking for a qualified osteopath to join us in a full-time permanent position, either as an employee or contractor. The successful applicant can expect to build a busy and varied caseload quickly through existing patient demand, referrals and clinic marketing. What you'll get: • A busy diary with a strong flow of new patients • Work your choice of 30-45 hours pr week over 4 or 5 days, Monday–Friday • No weekends, early mornings or late evenings • A diverse caseload including sports injuries, office workers, tradies, pregnancy and postnatal patients, babies and children, and older adults • The freedom to practise osteopathy your way, with clinical autonomy and support rather than micromanagement • Reception staff who handle bookings, phones, invoicing and ACC administration • Clinic advertising and established referral networks • No sales targets, unrealistic KPIs or pressure to "sell" treatment • Opportunities to develop areas of interest - particularly paediatrics, women's health and cranial osteopathy, where we currently have capacity • Time outside work for family, hobbies, sport and everything else that makes life enjoyable We believe in being transparent about remuneration: • NZD $35/hour guaranteed minimum • Additional performance-based earnings, topped up to 60% of patient and ACC invoices paid • NZD $82,800–$96,600 realistic annual earnings for a full-time osteopath once established • Genuine opportunity to increase earnings as your caseload grows, without an arbitrary cap • For employees, ACC levies and professional insurance are covered by the clinic These figures are based on our current patient demand, appointment structure and working hours - not an inflated "earning potential" that requires an unrealistic caseload. We're based in a beautiful 1920s native timber villa, just minutes from Hamilton CBD. You'll work alongside osteopaths, acupuncturists and experienced reception staff in a genuinely collaborative environment. We have: • Fully equipped, air-conditioned treatment rooms • Electric treatment plinths • Gensolve practice management software for notetaking • Established referral relationships throughout Hamilton • Referral and access to imaging, and direct specialist referral when needed Our philosophy is simple: treat patients well, support each other, and don't make work harder than it needs to be. We're interested in osteopaths who are: • Qualified with a GOsC or OCNZ-recognised osteopathic qualification • Registered, or eligible for registration, with OCNZ and ACC • Confident communicators with sound clinical reasoning • Comfortable treating a broad range of patients • Keen to continue developing professionally • Happy working independently while contributing to a collaborative team New graduates are welcome.
