The Role / The Clinic
The role will be taking on a partial patient list with both private and NHS (AQP) patients. The initial offer is of 1.5 days per week, however, there is scope to quickly add to your patient list due a high demand of MSK services in the local and surrounding areas including both private patients and a high level of NHS AQP referrals from local GP practices and other healthcare practitioners. We are looking to interview as soon as possible and to have the right candidate start before the end of 2022. The role will be on a self-employed, fee-split basis which will be discussed in greater depth as a part of the interview process.
Falmouth Osteopathic Clinic has been a part of the Cornish community since 1932 and has a strong relationship with local GP surgeries and other healthcare practitioners. The team consists of a Reception/Administration team, Osteopaths, a Podiatrist, Clinical Pilates, and a Sports Massage Therapist. The practitioners within Falmouth Osteopathic Clinic Ltd have a patient-centred, research-informed approach to healthcare.
The Candidate
A reliable, self-sufficient, structural Osteopath who would like to become a part of a multidisciplinary team within a busy clinic. A minimum of two years post-graduate clinical experience is essential. Additional qualifications that would complement the clinic: Sports Massage Therapy, Acupuncture/dry needling, Exercise-rehabilitation. You must have impeccable communication skills and be proficient with letter writing. A proactive attitude towards self-development, professional development, and an interest to connect with the community through networking and events e.g. in recent years we have attend the local university’s Fresher’s Fayre to meet new students.
